Private one on one swim lessons

At Mathis Swim Academy, your children will thrive in a fun, friendly environment that makes learning to swim an enjoyable experience.

Each swim lesson is 30 minutes long.

Our package includes 6 one on one 30 minute private swim lessons. You have the freedom to choose the days and times that work for you. We recommend 2 to 3 times a week of instructional swim lessons and practice the swim skills that have been taught on the days you do not have lessons.

6 lessons cost $420.

After the 6 lessons you can buy a couple more lessons or buy 6 more lessons, depending where the child is at.

We believe that with positive affirmation, love, encouragement, and a positive attitude, we can get your child to feel confident in the water.

Lessons are located in Saugus. The pool is clean and heated to 85 degrees. Once lessons are booked, you will receive confirmation with the address.

Constance Almendares Swim Instructor

Hi! My name is Constance Almendares, and I’m a passionate, kid-friendly swim instructor with a lifelong love for the water.

I’m in my first official year of teaching swim lessons, but I’ve been swimming like a fish since I was A kid and competed on my high school swim team. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked with children in various roles as a dance teacher, babysitter, and camp counselor. I enjoy watching kids learn, grow and build confidence in themselves, both in and out of the pool.

I’m certified in CPR and First-Aid, and I have trained under coach Tatiana, whose guidance helped strengthen my swim technique and teaching style.

I currently teach lessons Monday through Friday from 9:00–11:00am, with additional availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00–5:00pm. I look forward to helping your child become a safe, strong, and confident swimmer!

I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Mass Communication. Before teaching swim, I spent three years working in corporate communications within the entertainment industry, where I developed strong interpersonal and leadership skills that I now bring to every lesson.
